  • Financial Information: Income details, transaction history, bank account connections (via Plaid), receipts, and tax slips.
  • Authentication Data: Secure passkeys or OAuth tokens from Apple/Google. We do not store traditional passwords.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our tax calculation and filing services.
  • To process your transactions and manage your subscription.
  • To analyze financial data using Artificial Intelligence (Claude & GPT) to identify tax deductions and optimization strategies. Note: Financial data processed by AI is strictly isolated and not used to train public models.
  • To transmit tax returns to government agencies (CRA, IRS, HMRC, ATO, IRD) at your explicit request.

4. Data Security

We have implemented state-of-the-art measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). We utilize Row Level Security (RLS) within our database architecture to ensure strict data isolation.

Our service relies on trusted third parties:

  • Plaid: For secure read-only access to bank transaction data.
  • Stripe / RevenueCat: For secure payment processing.
  • OpenAI / Anthropic: For advanced data extraction and tax logic processing.
